Chief Financial Officer

Mark serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Mazars USA, working with the executive leadership team to guide the firm with its financial initiatives. He maintains responsibility for Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Benefits and Billing departments.

Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as Controller, and then Chief Financial Officer at SEACOR Holdings for several of their subsidiaries focused on agricultural commodities and led them through periods of growth and organizational change.

Mark began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1983, supporting a variety of industries including financial services, advertising, sports clients and not-for-profit organizations. He joined Bear, Stearns & Co. and spent nearly nine years there working on various initiatives in the financial reporting group and leading the energy derivatives accounting team as Controller. Mark spent several years at JP Morgan supporting the global operations infrastructure before joining Merrill Lynch, ultimately serving as Global Controller of the Futures & Options division. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1983 with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Economics.
